We are Marcel and Petra.
End 2020 we bought a Fiat Ducato from 2012, in order to build our own camping car. After 2 earlier builds, we knew exactly what we did, and didn’t want, so the design was quickly done.
Requirements were a bed that we didnt have to build up in the evening, and remove every morning, warm water, an oven (pies, pizza, quiche!) and a closeable toilet room. From the latter we eventually made a fully functional shower/toilet facility.
In September 2021 we made our first trip. Not entirely finished, but a great test. After this trip we made the last modifications, and finished the bathroom. Also, a working area was created, we we could start combining work and traveling.
This is how our vlog came to life, and now also this website. In order to extend our trips, I work 2.5 days a week, and the rest is vacation. To keep keep our friends and family up to date, as well as look back on our adventures together, I started filming and do a weekly vlog on YouTube. The vlogs also will be linked on this site.
